Students from the Sonoma Adventist College, affected by recent tensions with locals at the College have been repatriated back to West New Britain Province. The 14 students were repatriated with the funding support of the Provincial Government, through the Office of the Governor, Sasindran Muthuvel. This weekend, CAL FIRE LNU teams up to teach two Driver/Operator 1A courses across the Unit. This course provides our firefighters with the required training to obtain their firefighter endorsement for their driver’s license, an important step toward becoming eligible for promotion to Fire Apparatus Engineer (FAE) with CAL FIRE.
