Xiaomi announces Redmi K80 series repair part prices: screens start at 610 yuan ($84), batteries at 119 yuan ($16), with detailed pricing for cameras, boards, and more.

In subsequent posts on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Redmi confirmed that its upcoming Redmi K80 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset along with the company's proprietary Rage Engine 4.

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro smartphones in China, featuring a range of impressive specifications and a new partnership with TCL for the display.

Xiaomi has officially announced that REDMI K80/Pro refreshed the K series' first-sale record, exceeding 660,000 units in one day (statistical time is up to 24:00 on November 28, 2024).

The Redmi K80 will be available in a "Xiyue Blue" colourway, a Weibo post by the company confirmed. The phone has a "2.5D vertical edge design," and a matte finish metal frame. It is said to be lighter than that of the preceding Redmi K70, which weighs 209g.

Xiaomi also confirmed the full camera specifications of the Redmi K80 Pro. The Redmi K80 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 32MP ultrawide lens with a 120° FOV, and a 50MP telephoto-macro unit. Up front, the Redmi K80 Pro will likely opt for a 32MP selfie camera.
