NBA offseason has been one of the wildest rides for the franchise’s loyal fan bases. After Kevin Durant left the Phoenix Suns, Nikola Jokic struck a chord by opting not to sign a contract extension. According to the latest reports,

Jokic and the Nuggets went 3-0 to close out the season, beat the Los Angeles Clippers in seven games during the first round of the playoffs and took the eventual NBA champion Thunder to seven games in Western Conference semifinals before being eliminated. Jokic averaged 26.2 points and 12.7 rebounds in the postseason run.

Jokic is eligible for a three-year, $206.4 million extension as of July 8 — and Nuggets management has said they would offer it — but he told the Denver Nuggets that he is not going to sign it this summer,
