The New York Mets are going through a major hiccup. With high expectations around the organization, Steve Cohen is apologizing to Mets fans and in the process, putting pressure on their biggest offseason addition.

Mike Puma of the New York Post reported the Mets held a players-only meeting in the clubhouse following Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates after dropping the first two contests in the series. To say things have not gone well of late for the Mets would be an understatement.

Soto won't turn 27 until October, giving him plenty of time to add to his record. He has four multi-homer games this season, all since May 1, and those 27 multi-homer games are third most in baseball since Soto's debut in 2018. Only Aaron Judge (36) and Manny Machado (29) have more.
