Historians and JFK assassination experts began poring over the 2,182 unredacted records to determine what, if anything, is new to the public audience that has long been skeptical that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in Kennedy’s death.

The documents offer a rare window into some of the U.S. government’s most secret work, including CIA operations in Cuba and safe houses in Maryland.
