The ancient streets of Georgia's capital city were again choked with smoke on Sunday night, as anti-government protests continued into a fourth consecutive night.

Thousands have spent days protesting outside Georgia’s parliament to urge the country to reconsider putting its bid to join the EU on hold, which many say would allow Russia to increase its influence over the former Soviet country.
