Opening statements are set to begin in the racketeering and sex trafficking trial of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. The final stages of jury selection will take place right before the trial begins.

The 55-year-old hip-hop mogul has been charged by federal prosecutors with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The prosecution argues Sean "Diddy" Combs used his power to coerce victims into marathon drug-fuelled orgies, while the defence says its client is merely a "swinger" with unconventional sexual proclivities.
