House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Saturday condemned threats to Democrats in the lower chamber that were signed off with the message “MAGA.” A slew of Democratic lawmakers from Connecticut reportedly received bomb threats in their mailboxes signed with “MAGA” at the conclusion of the message on Thursday according to an announcement from House Minority

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) denounced the recent bomb threats against several Connecticut Democrats as “unacceptable” and maintained House Democrats will not be intimidated from carrying out their jobs.

Reps. Jim Himes, Joe Courtney, John Larson, Jahana Hayes and Rosa DeLauro — reported being the subject of such threats. Police who responded said they found no evidence of explosives on the lawmakers’ properties.
