Arizona Wildcats head coach Brent Brennan revealed one of the team's focuses in recruiting this offseason was the trenches.

Brent Brennan and the Arizona Wildcats were outgunned and outmatched in a 49-7 Territorial Cup defeat at the hands of No. 16 Arizona State.

The Wildcats had the third-worst scoring defense in the Big 12 and surrendered 31.8 points per game. Arizona also had the second-worst rushing defense in the conference and allowed 175.3 rushing yards per game. The Wildcats lost eight games by a combined 191 points this season.

To say it was a disappointing season for the Arizona Wildcats football program would be an understatement. From top to bottom, Arizona needed to be better and its failures will be remembered until things change.
