Bob Bryar, a former drummer with My Chemical Romance, has died, a spokesperson for the influential emo band confirmed Sunday.

American emo-punk band My Chemical Romance has confirmed the death of its former drummer, Bob Bryar. The news was initially reported last week by TMZ, who, citing police sources, said Bryar was discovered in his home in Tennessee after he was last seen alive on Nov. 4.

My Chemical Romance once consisted of six members: lead singer Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, lead bassist Mikey Way, touring keyboardist James Dewees and drummer Bob Bryar.
