A dozen animals were killed and a dozen others were injured after being attacked by a pack of dogs on a farm just south of Turlock earlier this month, authorities said Monday.The Merced County Sheriff's Office said six dogs got onto Macedo's Mini Acre near the Turlock-Merced county line on November 10 and 11.

The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 10 at Macedo’s Mini Acre, where about six dogs broke into the pasture. The attack left 11 alpacas and one llama dead at the business just south of Turlock in Merced County.

A rural Turlock alpaca farm is recovering from a deadly attack by a pack of free-ranging dogs. At approximately 6:30 a.m. Nov. 10, a pack of dogs broke into the pasture at Macedo’s Mini Acre and attacked the farm’s alpaca and llama herds.

A California judge ruled Monday that the Menendez brothers’ resentencing hearing will be pushed back from Dec. 11 to dates in late January. The fate of the resentencing had been up in the air since the prosecutor who called for it,
