President Donald Trump continued his calls to impeach the judge who put a hold on his deportation flights of noncitizens alleged to be members of the Tren de Aragua gang.

P resident Trump on Tuesday escalated his campaign to discredit judges who get in his way, calling on Congress to impeach the judge at the center of a legal fight over the deportation of hundreds of immigrants to El Salvador.

A federal judge is giving the Justice Department until Wednesday at noon to provide him, under seal, with more information about deportations the Trump administration carried out pursuant to President Donald Trump’s use of a sweeping wartime authority.
