Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has received a vote of confidence from former Los Angeles Clippers teammate James Harden.

The Sixers, who are off to a nightmarish 2-12 start this year, are teetering on the verge of a lost season in the wake of Paul George's latest knee injury.

Thursday’s MRI confirmed there’s no structural damage in his knee. Now, George will sit out the Sixers' games against the Nets and Clippers this weekend and will be reevaluated on Monday.

The Sixers then announced in the fourth quarter that George will not return due to a left knee hyperextension. For those paying attention at home, that is the same left knee that George had an issue with in the preseason that kept him out for a few weeks and caused him to miss the first five games of the season.
