Mark Anderson and his daughters, Lainey and Ellie, were killed in a plane crash Friday in near the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana.

Dykstra is a Missoula native and pilot who frequently helps with search and rescue efforts for the Montana Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division. Friday night, he and his father heard about a possible crash.

Mark Anderson and his two daughters, Ellie and Lainey, were on the plane that crashed in the Bob Marshall Wilderness in western Montana. Those close to Lainey told WAFF 48 News that they are heartbroken and devastated, but they say Lainey was a sweet soul and that the incident was simply tragic.
