Juan Soto hit his first home run in a Mets uniform during spring training
Soto homered off of Houston Astros pitcher Colton Gordon during the bottom of the first inning, giving him the first home run of his time with the Mets. “Get used to it,” the team account shared on social media after Soto homered.

Gordon used a fastball again in the fourth pitch of the at-bat, only this one was slightly slower — 90.6 mph, according to Baseball Savant — and right in the middle of the plate. The result was a first-inning home run to left-center, 106.2 mph off the bat and 426 feet deep.
