Here is the full injury report for Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers as they take on the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Cup on Friday.
As the Sixers said after Thursday's practice, Paul George remains out for Friday's game. The nine-time All-Star has yet to play this season as he recovers from an arthroscopic procedure performed on his left knee in July, with the final steps of his recovery focused on strengthening his left quadricep.
Joel Embiid will remain sidelined with right knee soreness when the 76ers face the Detroit Pistons in Friday night’s East Group B game of the NBA Cup at Little Caesars Arena. The 76ers center has missed the last two games.
In other injury matters, the Sixers continued to list Joel Embiid (right knee soreness) and Paul George (left knee injury recovery) as out. Jared McCain is on G League assignment. VJ Edgecombe was listed as questionable because of back spasms.
