Monica Brown, head vocal teacher at Joplin High School, will cap off her teaching career by helping direct her favorite musical, “The Wizard of Oz,” before retiring at the end of the school year.
Midwest Regional Ballet will present “Oz,” a punk rock twist on the classic tale “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” from Thursday, April 30, through Sunday, May 3, at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine St.
