In Game 4, Mikal Bridges stepped to the line for two free throws and turned heads for his on-court trash talk toward Dyson Daniels.
With the Knicks leading 51-38 late in the second quarter of Game 4, a physical play sent Bridges crashing to the floor. Dyson Daniels was whistled for the foul at the 2:08 mark of the second frame, but the call alone wasn’t enough to cool Bridges down.
Mike Brown began the game the same way, keeping his starting unit intact. But notably, he also ended the game the same way.
Paul Pierce doesn’t hold back, saying the Knicks have already “lost” Mikal Bridges in the middle of a crucial playoff series.
Mikal Bridges, suffice to say, is not playing up to par for the Knicks after this out and out disaster in Game 3 vs. the Hawks.
