Leeds United have pulled off a big transfer coup in signing Sean Longstaff. That is the verdict of former England international and Sheffield Wednesday star Chris Waddle as the Whites continue to splash the cash in the transfer market.

Leeds United are putting Anton Stach through a medical, while the dominoes are starting to fall in place over a huge deal for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Anton Stach and made room in Hoffenheim's squad for the German club to try to seal the arrival of Wouter Burger from Stoke City. Burger is believed to have said his goodbyes to Stoke teammates on Saturday before flying out to get a deal over the line and test himself in the Bundesliga.

Anton Stach represents Leeds United's most expensive signing of the summer transfer window so far. The 26-year-old has joined the Whites in a deal worth €20m plus add-ons. The 6ft 4ins midfielder underwent medical tests at the Whites’ Germany-based training camp yesterday and has already trained with his new teammates.

Leeds United are actively looking for a goalkeeper suitable for their step up to the Premier League to replace Illan Meslier, with plenty of candidates.

The West Yorkshire club could turn their attention elsewhere, with TBR Football reporting that Rodrigo Muniz is open to joining Leeds. Fulham hope to tie the Brazilian down to a new contract, although interest from Leeds could turn his head.
