A live bat discovered near Live Oak Boulevard tested positive for rabies, adding to a string of cases in the Yuba City area.

On the afternoon of Nov. 1, one of the pilots aboard a business jet flying over South Florida reported icing on the aircraft and "moderate turbulence." The plane was also encountering rainfall.

Authorities were working to determine what led a business jet to crash into a South Florida community, killing all nine people on board and causing extensive damage.
