Red Wings lose Cam Talbot, fall to Canucks in OT
DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings lost goaltender Cam Talbot to an injury, their penalty kill continued to struggle and they lost a lead late in regulation. They still emerged with a point but lost 5-4 to the Vancouver Canucks on Jake DeBrusk’s goal with 1:00 remaining in overtime at Little Caesars Arena.
Red Wings fall to Canucks in overtime, 5-4
Jake DeBrusk scored his third goal of the game, at 4 minutes of overtime, giving the Canucks a 5-4 victory over the Red Wings. DeBrusk took a handoff from Elias Pettersson and blistered a shot past goaltender Ville Husso.
