First responders in Westmoreland County are searching for a 64-year-old woman who reportedly fell in a 30-foot sinkhole in Unity Township.

The search entered day two on Wednesday. Pennsylvania troopers worry the abandoned mine where search efforts are underway is becoming unsafe, a report says.

State troopers are searching for a missing woman who may have fallen into a 30-foot sinkhole in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The search effort was happening in the area of Marguerite Road in Unity Township.

Crews are still working to locate 64-year-old Elizabeth Pollard, who is believed to have fallen into a sinkhole in Unity Township while she was out searching for a missing cat.​
