Chicago crime: 3 shot, 2 fatally, in South Side building, police say
CHICAGO - Three people were shot, two fatally, at a residential building on the South Side on Wednesday morning. The shooting happened in the 8100 block of S. Marshfield Avenue in Auburn Gresham, according to the Chicago Police Department. Officers responded to the scene a little before 8 a.m., police said.
Sunday’s shooting happened outside beloved local bar President’s Lounge, though initial reports linked it to Park Manor 75. The incident came after years of improved safety on the corridor, and businesses are asking for support.
A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Chicago's South Side Tuesday morning, Chicago police said.
Chicago police said the woman was exiting a private bus on Chicago's South Side when shots were fired from inside the bus.
