Calling it a love-hate relationship, Martinsville Speedway has brought out both the best and worst in Christopher Bell over the years

What a start to the NASCAR weekend at Martinsville. Known for producing some of the most intense races in history, the short track has yet again delivered with thrilling Truck and Xfinity races this year.

He’s the Martinsville master, so second to him is not that bad. I felt really bad at the end of the run. Qualifying really good was a big part of our success this weekend. Hopefully we can come back better in the fall and have a nice solid day.

Driving the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, Hamlin ended a 19-race winless streak, per NBC Sports. This victory marks his first at Martinsville since March 29, 2015, and extends his lead as the active driver with the most wins at the track with six.

In a renewal of his mastery of one of NASCAR's original racetracks, Denny Hamlin dominated the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway to earn his first win of the 2025 season and win No. 55 of his NASCAR Cup Series career.

Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell has seen joy and heartbreak when it comes to a NASCAR Cup Series race at the Martinsville Speedway. Back in the Fall 2022 Martinsville Cup Series race…….he got his first victory at Martinsville which put him in the Championship Four.

Denny Hamlin led 274 laps and dominated Martinsville. He held off Christopher Bell with about 80 laps to go, but Hamlin was able to drive away from his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate and earn his sixth victory at Martinsville Speedway and 55th win in his NASCAR Cup Series career.
