Iowa State is now one victory away from reaching the Big 12 title game after the 22 nd -ranked Cyclones survived a close call and beat Utah 31-28 at Rice-Eccles Stadium Saturday night. The Cyclones improved to 9-2 on the season including 6-2 in Big 12 play.

The Iowa State football team has arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah for a key Big 12 Conference matchup with the Utes. Coming off a win at home over Cincinnati, the Cyclones (8-2, 5-2) remain in contention for a spot in the league title game.
