The NWS Raleigh NC issued a flood advisory at 4:06 p.m. on Sunday in effect until 6 p.m. for Sampson County. The NWS informs, "Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected." "Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas," adds the NWS. "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles."
