Arsenal's Premier League title hopes suffered a hammer blow when Jarrod Bowen's goal just before halftime gave London rivals West Ham United a surprise 1-0 away victory on Saturday.

This season's Premier League is a return to the norm. Teams are dropping points and, for frontrunners Liverpool, their grip on the title is that bit firmer this afternoon thanks to the performance of Arsenal.

The result means Liverpool will go 11 points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League table if they beat Manchester City away from home on Sunday. They will, however, have played one game more.
