Indonesian rescuers retrieved today the remains of two Singaporean hikers killed in a volcanic eruption in a seismic no-go zone, capping a three-day search operation, officials said.

Seventeen of the 20 climbers were safely evacuated by Friday evening, search and rescue officials said.
