Stephen Colbert credited CBS on Monday’s (October 20) edition of The Late Show for allowing him to show footage of a “disturbing” AI video President Donald Trump shared on social media over the weekend.

Colbert celebrated National Boss’ Day by mockingly declaring his “love” for David Ellison but only in the hope of buying his show “a couple more months.”

Bette Midler skewered President Donald Trump in a parody song tribute for late-night host Stephen Colbert, whose show was canceled in July.

Kimmel described his show’s suspension as an “emotional roller coaster” while Colbert discussed how he learned that his show had been canceled.

Stephen Colbert kicked off Thursday’s edition of The Late Show with a jab at the CEO who fired him, declaring “love” for Paramount chief David Ellison on National Boss’ Day. “I join you tonight in a celebratory mood because, as you know, today is National Boss’ Day,” Colbert said while kicking off his opening monologue.
