Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid was always going to be measured against impossible standards. However, midway through the 2025-26 season, he has already forced his way into a conversation reserved for only the most elite finishers to ever wear white.

Kylian Mbappé has scored twice and Real Madrid defeated third-division club Talavera 3-2 in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey.

Mbappé made his official debut for Real Madrid on 14 August 2024 and did so in the best possible way: he scored his first goal and won his first title as a Madrid player in the European Super Cup final against Atalanta.
