The spectacle both thrilled and rattled many of the beachgoers who lined the shoreline to watch the display by the elite U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, better known as the Blue Angels. The squadron said in a statement to media outlets that it “is aware of social media footage showing a low-altitude pass by a team aircraft over Pensacola Beach.
