Madonna Dominates 2026 MTV VMA's With a Huge Night of Wins

Madonna has called out collaborator Sabrina Carpenter and her management team for their tardiness. The 68-year-old superstar made a triumphant return to the MTV VMAs on Sunday on the back of her acclaimed Confessions 2 album.
Miley last led the Billboard 200 with Bangerz in 2013, following her first four No. 1s in 2006-09. The entertainer is one of three acts to have topped the chart this year and reigned in three or more distinct decades. She joins Madonna (1980s, 2000s, 10s and ‘20s) and Taylor Swift (2000s, ‘10s and ‘20s) for the honor.
Megyn Kelly ripped into Madonna’s appearance at the 2026 Video Music Awards, calling the music icon “needy.” The “Confessions II” singer came out on top Sunday night at the awards show with seven trophies, including Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter for their song “Bring Your Love.”
