WORCESTER – After demolition of the Harrison Street Bridge over Interstate 290 began Dec. 9, the project will now enter a beam-removal phase, which will include a 46-hour closure. Beginning at 9 a.m.

A $768,000 project to fix bridge joints at the U.S. 290–I-35 interchange will proceed after Valentine's Day footage was widely shared on social media. Nightly closures will begin Thursday.
