Businesses in Germantown are feeling the impact of construction preparations for a two-month shutdown of I-65.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage and allow additional travel time while work is underway, according to the release.

The closures are part of the Interstate 65 Central Corridor Project, which is a larger effort to improve safety and travel along the interstate.
