New York’s Republican State Committee has suspended a Young Republican organization following the release of a group chat that included jokes about rape and flippant commentary on gas chambers. New York’s Republican committee on Friday said its leaders had voted unanimously to suspend the authorization of the New York State Young Republicans to operate at a statewide level.

Vice President JD Vance said the Young Republican leaders who sent racist and antisemitic messages are kids, but the two Kansans are ages 24 and 29.
