President Trump announced Friday that his embattled personnel director Sergio Gor is being nominated to be ambassador to India and will leave his post following his Senate confirmation.

Trump announced Sergio Gor as the next US Ambassador to India and Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs on Saturday (IST).
