STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An NYPD detective was arrested after authorities allege they seized ghost guns during a raid of his home in Prince’s Bay on Tuesday evening, according to multiple sources.

Det. Third Grade Anthony Sciortino, 35 – a 13-year department veteran now assigned to the department’s 120th Precinct – was arrested Tuesday and arraigned on a 16-count indictment, with allegations dating back to 2020,

Anthony Sciortino, a detective in Staten Island, was also charged with falsifying police records in what prosecutors said was a “brazen act of misconduct.”
