A fire damaged a home in Norwalk early Sunday morning. Firefighters responded to the home on North Bridge Street around 1:30 a.m. According to fire officials, crews found the second floor of the home fully involved in fire.

A house in Norwalk is now uninhabitable after an early morning fire. A two-story home went up in flames just before 1:30 a.m. at 57 North Bridge St. Upon arrival, the Norwalk Fire Department witnessed the second floor fully engulfed.

Two people have been displaced following an early morning fire Sunday in Norwalk. When firefighters arrived, they found the second floor fully engulfed with flames. The two people inside along with their pet parrot were able to safely evacuated.

Two residents were able to safely exit the house, along with their pet parrot. No injuries were reported. The home was deemed uninhabitable due to the extensive damage, and the American Red Cross was on scene to assist with housing.
