Overnight rain created a slightly softer Augusta National Golf Club for Round 2 of the 2025 Masters on Friday, and while winds picked up in the afternoon, there were low scores available for the 95-man field that met the cutline at close of play.

Justin Rose is in the Masters record book with his fifth time being atop the leaderboard after the opening round
