With his athletic tools, the Seattle Seahawks were thrilled that Jalen Milroe was available to take in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback learned he'd be wearing No. 6 with his new team.

Ironically, the No. 92 overall pick used to draft Milroe came from the Las Vegas Raiders in the Geno Smith trade. But the connections to former Seahawks quarterbacks do not end there. Milroe becomes the first quarterback Seattle has drafted in the third round since... Russell Wilson during the 2012 NFL draft.

Alabama football quarterback Jalen Milroe is off the board. Milroe was taken by the Seattle Seahawks at pick No. 92 in the 2025 NFL Draft on Day 2. Milroe served as the Crimson Tide’s starter for the past two seasons, taking over in 2023 after Bryce Young’s departure. He was also a captain for Alabama in both 2023 and 2024.
