Idina Menzel, the original Elphaba on Broadway’s “Wicked,” shared photos taken with the stars of the movie adaptation on Facebook.

Menzel’s only stipulation for her cameo was to “just make us look pretty,” she told Entertainment Weekly. On Instagram, she praised the cast, including Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, calling the film “spectacular” and “extremely moving.”

The original "Wicked" witches choose their favorite songs in the musical. Unlimited. Together, they're unlimited. That's always been the case for Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, who originated the roles of Elphaba and Galinda in the Broadway production of Wicked.
