Police in Savannah, Georgia, are responding to a mall shooting that left "several victims," the department said on Wednesday.

Firefighters from the IAFF Local 574 described the scene at Oglethorpe Mall as "an active and dangerous situation."

The Savannah Police Department confirmed to WTOC that there were multiple victims injured in a shooting at Oglethorpe Mall. Chatham Emergency Services said there were five victims, including at least one person with critical injuries. The local firefighters union called the incident a “dangerous situation.”
