Michael Mann, Josh Brolin, Josh Gad, Richard Roeper and Bill Simmons, were among the entertainment industry figures who paid tribute to Val Kilmer on Tuesday after news of his death was announced.

Late actor Val Kilmer is being honored by Hollywood. Kilmer, who died at age 65 of pneumonia after battling throat cancer for more than a decade, was a go-to star in the 1980s and '90s across both high concept blockbusters and auteur dramas.
