The issue, centered in AWS’s US-East-1 region, began around midnight EST, causing server errors, timeouts and failed connections. The website health tracker Downdetector lit up as users reported issues en masse.
Reddit is reportedly down for hundreds of users across the United States. Many are reporting "reddit your request has been rate limited" error.
