Dallas Duel of Dynamic Duos Deaded: Commanders downgrade WR Samuel
The Cowboys defense is getting a bit of a break on Sunday, as the second top Commanders wideout has been ruled out.
The Commanders wade into Week 7 facing the very real possibility they could be without their three top receivers because of injuries.
A tense clip of Commanders receiver Deebo Samuel and newly minted Bears kicker Jake Moody has resurfaced in the wake of Chicago's victory over Washington on Monday night, which was sealed with a go-ahead field goal from Moody himself.
Their other inactives are quarterback Josh Johnson, linebacker Ale Kaho, linebacker Kain Medrano, defensive tackle Eddie Goldman (illness) and offensive guard Brandon Coleman. Johnson will serve as the emergency third quarterback. Running back Chris Rodriguez (calf) is active.
